New for 2025 - Kids Race

We've had multiple requests to add a Kids Race to the event. So, this year we are adding a 1-mile, fully off-road run for kids. The run is open for any children 4-15. You can sign up via the normal race entries. The kids race will start at 9:15am.

The Route

The route starts in the main race village at the Lower Way Playing fields. After a bit of a loop round the fields, it passes along the foorpath and into the Nature Discovery Center. If follows a loop around the Orchard Field and NDC wood, before returning via the footpath back to the Lower Way Field.

Useful Information

  • The route is fully off-road, along footpaths and fields

  • It will be fully marshalled, so that every participant will always be in full sight of at least two marshals

  • Kids can run on their own or can be accompanied by a parent/carer

  • Please note that parents/carers are fully responsible for children before and after the race
